Art Gamblin Motors Community Involvement in Enumclaw, WA
For over 45 years, our Chevy and dealership in Enumclaw, WA, has been supported by our generous and loving Enumclaw community. Our community has propelled us forward and has consistently challenged us to better ourselves and those around us every day. We fully understand what our community's unwavering support means to our business, so that is why we make it a top priority to give back to those who have positively influenced us since we first opened our doors.
We proudly donate our money and time to deserving organizations through fundraisers, sponsorships and scholarships. Below are some of our notable contributions and a summary of the great events we've been lucky enough to partake in over the years. Should you wish to participate in any of our community sponsored events, visit us at Art Gamblin Motors and we'll connect you to that organization!
SCHOLARSHIPS
Art Gamblin Memorial Scholarship
For the past 15 years, our dealership has awarded one Enumclaw High School senior boy and one Enumclaw senior girl $500 a year for the course of two years to help finance their college tuition. The students chosen to receive the prestigious Art Gamblin Memorial Scholarship must excel in academics, leadership and athletics, making them a well-rounded scholar athlete, just like Art Gamblin Motors. Over our 14 year long history of presenting this scholarship, we've successfully helped finance 27 Enumclaw High School scholar athletes with a combined total of $27,000 in scholarship funds!
FUNDRAISERS AND VOLUNTEERING EFFORTS
Community Coat Drive
We believe no one should go cold during the chilly winter months, so to ensure our community members stay warm we host a Community Coat Drive at our dealership. Every November, we invite our employees, customers and members of our community to go through their closet and donate any gently used coats, clothes, shoes and socks they can find. Every article of clothing we collect will then be donated to our partners at the Enumclaw Clothing Bank, who then distribute the clothing to community members in need!
Full Bellies
Full Bellies is an excellent way to give back to our community, which is why we participate several times a year! Full Bellies was established with the goal of delivering hot meals for free to families and individuals who would otherwise go hungry. Our employees make it a priority to take time out of their busy schedules to cook and serve dinner for these individuals and our community, so you'll frequently find a member of our staff serving up a hot dinner at the Calvary Presbyterian Church on Thursdays!

SPONSORSHIPS
Enumclaw Pro Rodeo
In the Enumclaw community, livestock and farming are two key components of our culture. Our agricultural heritage is something we are proud of, which is why it's annually celebrated by the Enumclaw Pro Rodeo. Our dealership personally partakes in the rodeo by sponsoring Rick Josie, our former bull riding cowboy! He volunteers each year to ride his trusty bronco and bull to ensure that the Pro Rodeo remains a tradition in the community and stands as an example of our proud Enumclaw heritage.
Seattle Scottish Highland Games and Clan Gathering
The annual Seattle Scottish Highland Games and Clan Gathering is one of the most anticipated weekends of the year, as the community comes together as one to celebrate its Scottish heritage at the Enumclaw Expo Center. You'll enjoy endless Celtic music from bag pipers and harpists, Scottish dancers performing the national dances of Scotland and of course traditional Scottish foods and ales! We sponsor this event because there is nothing like walking down the Avenue of the Clans and the Walk through Time to reflect and remember our proud Scottish ancestry.
Enumclaw Rotary Street Fair
The Enumclaw Rotary Street Fair is a local tradition in our community that has become well known over the years. Every summer, our community gathers on Cole Street for a day filled with live music, vendors, food, automotive shows and family fun activities. Each year, roughly 120 business vendors attend this festival and every year our dealership is one of them. We love sponsoring and attending this event because we get the chance to discuss our latest Chevy models with our community in a relaxed atmosphere!
